Why is a 'reference test' always necessary with the Delvotest Go?

      • - Explain again what a reference test is

(known negative milk from bulk tank of animal that is not treated. with typical milk composition, or supermarket milk with ~3.5% fat. )

      • - (Reminder: what is control time and why is it important to read the test at control time.) details on entry in trengo.

Sensitivity will be diminished if read after control time (especially for bacteriostatic antibiotics like tetracyclines or sulfonamides)

      • - In the GO the Reference is used to define the control time of this batch of ampoules that you are about to test with.

This will ensure that you test for the best sensitivity.

          • When you test bulk tank, you always need to test for the best sensitivity - therefore always a reference is required. Place your reference is slot1. You can add in slot2 , slot3, slot4 up to 3 unknown samples to test.
          • When you test at animal level, the Go device allows you to use a pre-existing reference run. In this case You can add in slot1, slot2 , slot3, slot4 up to 4 unknown samples to test. The pre-existing reference should be from the same batch and it was executed within a specific period
              •  30 days for T ampoules
              • 21 days for SPNT ampoules
