Delvotest® Milk Controls are available for cow, goat, and ewe milk.
Each type of Control is offered separately in carton boxes of six glass vials each. Each vial contains approximately 1.5 g of lyophilized milk.
The Penicillin 4 ppb Control (Cow or Goat or Ewe milk) contains 4 +/- 0.5 ppb Penicillin G, aims to show the conformity with EU-MRL for Penicillin G.
The Penicillin 5 ppb Control (Cow milk) contains 5 +/- 0.5 ppb Penicillin G, aims to show the conformity with USA tolerance levels as per M-a-85, M-I-18-9. (USP; Reference Standard Penicillin G potassium).
The Sulfadiazine Milk Control aims to demonstrate the appropriate performance of a test when detecting the presence of Sulfonamides. The Sulfadiazine Milk Control (cow milk) contains approximately 1000 ppb Sulfadiazine (P.A.)
Different species of milk have different milk composition. For this reason it is important to test species-by-species with the corresponding Milk Controls for testing.
