Database

When an incubation run has been performed, the results will be stored on the DAS. The results of each test can be retrieved from the DAS as csv-file and pdf-file (see section 5.3). To get an overview of the executed tests, the Database functionality can be used. The Database page will be shown when the header Database is clicked (see Figure below).

The Database page is a large table with the characteristics of each executed test. Table 3 explains the fields of the database.

When the header Database is clicked, the table will only show results which are locally stored on the DAS. When the button “get test summaries for all devices” is pressed, the most recent 20 results from all other DAS devices will be retrieved and shown in the same table.

Note: data from other DAS can be retrieved only when they are connected to the network and are powered on.

The table can be ordered by field by clicking on the field name of the top row.

The rows of the table can be filtered by a searching for keyword in the fields. When you start typing in the search textbox, the table will be directly filtered. With this functionality the table can be easily filtered, but for advanced search commands it is recommended to use a dedicated spreadsheet application, such as Microsoft Excel.

The shown table can be copied-and-pasted directly to a spreadsheet application (such as Excel). It can be exported also to a comma separated values file (csv-file), by clicking on the button “export to csv”. Only the rows, which are selected (checkbox of the first column) will be exported to the csv-file. By pressing on the buttons “Select all” or “Deselect all”, all rows can be selected or deselected respectively. A user can also select or deselect one row by clicking on the checkbox of the first column.
