How to troubleshoot common issues with DelvoScan?

Calibration fails what to do.

  1. The scan bed is dirty. Please clean the scan bed.
  2. The Target is combined with the wrong data file. Please confirm that the data file you have selected is a valid data file and that it corresponds to the batch of your Color Input Target.
  3. The Color Input Target is damaged. If a target happens to be bent, use the scanner lid to ensure that the target is lying flat on the scan bed.
  4. The scanner fails to provide consistent color scans. This is a hardware problem, please replace your scanner.

Location of plates ampoules failing

When an image has been acquired by the scanner the application will automatically search for the

Multi plates and their rotation in the image. This localization step may fail for several reasons:

  1. The background of the image is not dark enough. Please use a dark background as described in

the scanner operating instructions.

  1. The scan bed is polluted. Please clean and dry the scan bed before operation.
  2. The wrong number or size of the multi plates has been entered in the sample configuration dialogue.
  3. The multi plates have been placed incorrectly. A multi plate should have a minimum distance of 2 cm (approx. 0.8 inches) to the border of the scan bed and other multi plates. Please consider the fact that most scanners do not scan the entire scan bed but only the top right part of it. Therefore, do not position the multi plates too close to the  bed sides.
  4. One of the multi plates is heavily rotated. Please align the multi plate with the borders of the scan bed, while keeping a minimum distance of 1 cm (0.4 inches).
  5. The plastic film covering the plate doesn’t stick well to the plate (mainly on the corners)
