Setting up more than 1 DAS in the same laptop or computer is easy with the use of a router, similar to the ones used for wifi connections. Example of the connection below:
Most common wifi routers will work. Please refer to the router specifications below:
- Check the router capacity: Number of additional ports they have. Routers with multiple antennas and support for technologies like Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) are better equipped to handle many connections.
- Dual-Band Support: Dual-band routers operate on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands.
- DHCP Server: Routers typically include a DHCP server that automatically assigns IP addresses to devices on the network. Ensure your router has this feature enabled.
- IP Address Range: Make sure the router's DHCP server is configured to provide a sufficient range of IP addresses to accommodate all the devices you plan to connect. You may need to adjust the DHCP settings in the router's configuration interface to expand the IP address range if necessary
