The application layout plan is designed to standardise the testing procedure across all Delvotest® T plates, ensuring consistent and accurate validation results. This layout provides a structured approach for testing each sample type, including raw milk and various antibiotic concentrations. Below is a guide for setting up the testing plate to meet the CCβ validation criteria.
CCβ Validation Setup
In line with CCβ requirements, the following plate format allows for a systematic arrangement of raw milk (RM) samples and antibiotic-treated samples, ensuring that each condition is thoroughly tested across multiple wells. Each antibiotic type and concentration are organised to facilitate easy identification and accurate result interpretation.
Testing Layout
The Delvotest® T plate has an 8x12 format, with designated wells for raw milk and antibiotics, including Penicillin G (4 ppb), Oxytetracycline (100 ppb), and Sulfadiazine (100 ppb). Wells are arranged to alternate control samples and antibiotic-treated samples as follows:
RM = Raw Milk
P = Penicillin G (4 ppb)
O = Oxytetracycline (100 ppb)
S = Sulfadiazine (100 ppb)
❗ Colours are simply indicative of expected POSITIVE (red) versus NEGATIVE (green) results as usually reported by the Delvotest® Accelerator Smart, providing more accessible guidance in this document. They should not be used as any basis for visual reading or visual ‘colour-matching’ against the device’s own colour readings.
